Did you get rid of your computer, or did you lose it? That's the case with me. My computer crashed last November, and while I did see it coming and was able to save a lot of stuff that I wanted to keep, I had to let all my Everquest and Everquest 2 screenshots be wiped out. I'd be posting many screenshots in this thread if not for that.

I got rid of it SMILEY. It was quite a while ago, and I was young. I didn't really do alot of thinking into the future, I was just excited that I had a new computer ><

Mm I still have some screenshots of early EQ1 back when a GM was playing Bristlebane and turning everyone into funky illusions (I was a cyclops). Was fun times, I'll have to dig up a screenshot or two.

At this point I'd rather be seeing screenshots of Everquest way back before Luclin came out. Back when the models were so primitive and the user interface was fixed. I liked that interface.

While I don't have screenshots, and I started after Luclin era (I started PoP era actually)

My personal favorite "story" if you can call it that is more just remembering fondly the first really MAJOR quest I finished.  Iksar Shadowknight overarching quest.  Final reward:  Greenmist, the Unholy Khukri of Rile Sathir.  mmm, Greenmist!   Even after I replaced it with better weaponry, I still hauled it everywhere.

I miss my old Iksar in Cabilis, back before the silly books and overeasy travel >_<

Back when it felt like a world.

Why can't EQlive go Free to Play instead? Part of me really wants to go back and play as Yuffie again, and just explore the world once more.

Aye, this is the game I miss :[ My old druid still has an artifact... stopped paying for the account a long time ago though. I'd go back and play original EQ without hesitation, before the planes, before luclin... I miss you fippy darkpaw :[ I even miss the hermit that I camped from 20-30...

Well, I've never been played EQ1 and the version for playstation i think. I mean for that time the graphics must be advanced and the lore its amazing.

Some day EQ2 will be old and the graphics will be also old, who knows in 30 years what kind of games will be playing.

EQ24?

The only game that beat Everquest graphicwise was Half Life. Other than that this MMORPG beat most games at the beginning. It was crazy.

Ah still have fond memories of taking mah lvl 8 Iksar SK overland from Cabilis to the Abysmal Sea (the only time he 'cheated' was getting to Freeport, the guards at the entrance to the dock in the Overthere splatted him so he took the book to FP but ran the rest of the way), took some screenshots of the images in the wall on the EK ramp ([Removed for Content] place gave me the creeps because of an un-natural fear of heights, even virtual ones)

Account is still active (have had the Station Pass since EQ2 started) just hope little Skorkijan is still around (they only delete if the character is under 10 and the account has lapsed, right?)

Thank you, just found out that just seeing a picture is not as bad as actually 'being there'

Pre-Luclin screenshots make me teary eyed.  I miss those days.

I remember when I first started my brother was incredibly jealous that I kept getting free satchels to use as bags off the kobolds in Innothule.  His Iksar got no such love in FoB.

Ooh Book meditation and having my hubby (The Dwarf Paladin) be my look out cause it took ages to med up.  My little gnome Wizard was soo much fun.. Then I had kids and I can't devote the time to raiding I used to..

Best ever time in game was dinging 35, sitting down to book med and getting killed by a gobbie in SolA

Digging through mine looking for pre-Luclin.. I think a lot of them have gone missing though. But here's what I found..

My mage in Temple of Veeshan posing:

My mage posing in Plane of Sky (she liked to pose, what can I say?):

One of the dragons outside of ToV:

And one more... post-Luclin but a lovely Plane of Fear wipe none-the-less... if you look closely enough you can see my monk feign deathed under some corpses:

Nice! SMILEY I ran The Unnamed on E'ci for a year or so before I took a hiatus (had inherited it then passed it on), it was a great guild and by far still my favorite guild name.
