problems with 14 day trial

Hello, I've recently had some friends join EQ2 and they have convinced me to try your game. I have gone to the site opened a station account and downloaded the 14 day trial this morning. However, when I try to start the game up all I get is a little screen that says everquest II and sony online entertainment; but nothing else appears. Im not a knowledgable guy when it comes to computers so any assisstance in this matter would be appreciated.
