![]() See title. I'm sure this has been covered in some other thread that I can't find right now, but is the Cristanos we see in game right now the Original Cristanos that Innoruuk Kidnapped from the Eddar elves and turned into the first Darkelf? How about Naythox? Was the Naythox that was killed in the War of the Fay the Original Naythox Thex that Innoruuk Kidnapped from the Eddar elves and turned into the Second Darkelf? Or were they decendants, or other nobles that just took on the names when the originals died? If they arent' the originals, what happened to the Originals? Also, something to note: When you do the Bruiser Mythical, you learn about a 6 armed being that resides on the Plane of War by the name of Gorynn. Since his name isn't Gorynn Zek, I assumed that he wasn't apart of the Zekkian Divine Family (Tallon, Vallon, etc). Notice the lack of a Thex surname on Cristanos. Does this mean she wasn't the original? Notice also that the Princess lacks a surname. It's clear that she's probably marrying into the family. The only one who bares a surname is Tarant Thex, the prince. With this train of throught, its safe to say that he's a child of the original two Darkelves. I would also assume he is the head SK of the Dread Guard. (with Cristanos being the head Necromancer of the Lodge, or maybe that assistant of hers in the back) Also, the heck is up with Cristanos' voice. Hail her. You'll know what I'm talking about. I think people were saying that she's possessed somehow. |

![]() No, She is not the original. The monuments at the entrance of Fallen Gate prove that there have been many kings and queens before Christanos and Naythox Thex. It's a tradition of sorts for the ruling King and Queen to take the name of Christanos and Naythox Thex after the original king and queen that Innoruuk stole from the Elves and corrupted into the first Dark Elves. This Christanos is the same one from EQlive though. Her body is being inhabited by some extra-planar being, but it's not expanded upon. We don't know what it is, how it ended being inside her, or anything else. |

![]() The truth about the Thexian line has always been one of those iffy subjects the Fallen gate pillars talk of other Kings and Queens so its assumed the ones in the Age of Turmoil were not the originals from the Elddar though, some also theorized with the majority of Neriak's empire underground the Thexians may have set up the own nobles and such iafter Naythox's death. The real question was Cristanos' power play, she had Naythox slain on Faydwer and nearly her son Talvus at Cauldron Hollow (we got to see it 1st hand). What puzzles me is the Thexian legions of the Underfoot, those that wore the darker blue armor even more devout to Innoruuk's teachings of racial elitsm to an extreme much greater then the surface traveling Neriak Teir`Dal. I wouldnt be at all surprised if a bloody war of the Underfoot went on for control in the power vaccum seeing as they generally didnt agree alot with Neriak's forces going above ground. Wouldnt suprise me if another band of nobles made a coup attempt or an all out civil war took place in the Underfoot for control of the Empire. The princess i dont know much on but Tarant a little is. Tarant is the son of King Naythox and his lover Seloxia (warrior guild eq1) and when the power play by Cristanos was made he decided to join with the Deadguard when the Thexians of Neriak were outcast. This put him in the queens graces enough i guess that he gets to keep his surname of his father. Heck knowing how twisted the Teir`dal are i wouldnt be surprised of the Princess was Cristanos' and Tarant's child. Oh as for Gorynn theres a little posted about him by Nostrolo here .

![]() Well, being at fanfaire means I got to talk to Cronyn. He's a pretty awesome guy. That is correct that Cristanos Thex is not the Original, however she is the same Cristanos that was in EQlive/EQ1. Tarant Thex is the person you say he is, and he hinted at a bit of strife between Cristanos and Tarant due to the fact that he is Naythox's son and is still alive. It is entirely possible that he may attempt to make a run at the throne and all of that. And no, he wouldn't tell me why Cristanos has that cool evil voice and is all super evil. |
