Free Marketplace item, Gold Inlaid Armbands

Claimed this item this morning(claim as many as you want) it does absolutely nothing, in part because everytime you examine it, it gives an error message asking you to repair it first. Glad to see resources are being used for this garbage. Now use more resources to fix it, lol. Q&A ftw?

It actually works just fine - the message indicates that it must be repaired in order to be converted from two armbands to right only or left only - the item is fully repaired already - it's just a disclaimer incase you have it damaged. If you just click one of those options it lists it converts. Also if you just double click it from your inventory it automatically places it in your appearance shoulder slot location.

I claimed this today on my 21 female Arasai. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear at all. Took off all other equipment and it still doesn't show up. Anyone else having problems with this?

you have to have a chest piece visible to show shoulder pieces - cannot be a chest piece that normally hides your shoulder slot like a robe or Gi or fancy dresswear.

Aha! Thanks! Was wearing a robe, so of course when I took it off I couldn't see it anyway.

I wanted to wear the armband on one arm on my zerker who goes around with a bare chest.... there is no reason why he shouldn't be able wear (and have showing) a band around his arm with no shirt on... it makes no sense that you can't see the armband if you dont have a chest piece showing....

Please, Please change this travesty so that things like this and other armbands show up when you are wearing chest items like the Imperceptible Beauty chestpiece... how many movies and artwork have you seen a barechested guy wearing something around his bicep? ALOT! so please fix it so we can have that look here too!
