Any Assassin finding it increasingly harder and harder to fight in BG’s? Up until recently, even before I was as geared as I am now, I did quite well. Lately I cannot damage anyone out there unless they are in noob gear. My average kill count is about half of what is used to be too...

Like I mentioned, this has just happened recently after the last few BG changes. Anyone other Assassins noticing this? I also see less and less Assassins in BG, period. Why is this?

If you're in the 90 BG then people are probably wearing more and more toughness gear.  Also they're probably learning some things not to do that was causing them to get owned so easily.  And maybe they're running an actual BG AA spec now.  The list goes on..

Some people in my guild have remarked about how they feel "left behind" after not running many BGs for a while.  As StaticLex posted, the playerbase in BGs is apparently getting better.

I'm pretty sure assassins's are one of the best classes in BGs.

As a ranger I have certainly noticed people getting harder to kill. Against me in particular they are learning to avoid line of sight. They are definitely getting tougher as well. My personal dps has increased since I began BG but people in general are harder to kill. God help the poor soul out there I find I can kill easily. They will have a very hard time staying alive. I will kill them whenever I see them. To the point I start feeling bad. I feel like I'm killing Bambi, over and over and over... Poor little fella. Ofcourse that guilty feeling goes away as soon as some brig or assassin wastes me before I know they are there. Then I remember. It's a food chain and I gotta eat.

I know personally as soon as I see an assassin running my way (I bg on my bruiser) I put up a stoneskin so when he teleports to me it only serves to get him a big flurry from my two hander.

Hmmm then it must just be me, but some of you responded like people have gotten better in the last few weeks. That was my main point, it was just recently after the last updates, not over a longer period of time.

Oh well...back to BGin it!

Assassins and brigs are probably the most OP classes in BG right now, with rangers coming in because of the massive AOE damage they can do and then swashies.

Hopefully it will get toned down with the next update so one rogue/predator isn't dominating entire groups in 10 seconds SMILEY
