EQ2 game Crashes frequently when joining Battlegrounds.

Regularly the game crashes atleast once while i'm doing Battlegrounds for a while. It just barely gets the loading screen the first time I try to join but kicks me to desktop without the send or don't send to developers message either. I log back in it says Battleground Hub on loading then boots me again. Third time, I get into the regular game but I am under the can't enter another BG debuff.. heck after that happens the game boots me to desktop when i'm just in the regular game doing quests about 20 minutes later..... Anyone else have this happen to them and can it be fixed?
