Hi,

I currently play on a EU server, but based on a full character compliment (bloody wife ) I have switched my patcher to the US version to gain an additional set of toons

I have decided to play on a pvp server for a different experience, Im gonna die loads, and this isnt an issue (MW & MW2 taught me how to die gracefully while not being very good)

But could someone point me in the direction of the ruleset so I know what I lose when I die, and maybe a site that can give me a heads up starter for a beginning nagafen pvp'er

Thanks in hope

EDIT:  With regards to everything above, I know theres a sticky at the top with lots of links, was kinda hoping there might be a real 'quick start guide' possibly just giving me the link to the most important read SMILEY

1) Expect to die a lot 2) If you do not plan to "level-lock", level and gain AAs as fast as you can on your way to 80. 3) If you die in PVP you will lose around 70% of money currently in your pockets + maybe some random item from your bags with Treasured/Handcrafted quality (you can also lose a shiny or a harvestable), so be sure to bank each time you leave the city. You cannot lose Attuned/Lore/No-Trade items.4) You cannot be attacked in city zones MATCHING YOUR ALIGNMENT (you will get a message on your screen when you enter any city zone) UNLESS you attack first. 5) When you revive you will be immune to PVP until you leave the revive spot (you will get 30-second countdown). 6) Same 30-second countdown applies when you zone (or cross a line) between a PVP-enabled and a PVP-restricted zone and vice versa. 7) You can be attacked if you have a little greeny icon near your Name/HP/Mana bar - it means you are out of immunity. 8) Any player can attack you if his level falls between 10 and xx+N, where xx - your own level, N - PVP level range in particualr zone you are in. Most high-level zones have unlimited level range, most beginner zones (T1) have 4 level range. You only can attack a player if his level range is within corresponding zone range. Of course, you can fight back any player who attacked you no matter what level range you have.9) You cannot fight back while mentoring. Period. Do not go into open PVP zones unless you really must.

10) All in all, if you hover your mouse pointer over any player of opposite alignment and it turns into crossed swords, you CAN attack him. Con colors apply just the same as with normal mobs. That will get you going for now.

Addition to 3)  Learn where the mailboxes are in the zones you are questing.  Mail your coin to alts or friends (preferably ones that will return it) often.

Not that very necessary. You can purchase some T9 fuels from overland merchants etc... Or just visit bankers often.
