![]() Another Zarakon from what I've heard in the lore channel: No backstory to speak whatsoever. Neither of those characters or Parah'Celsis existed in EQlive. |

![]() Well, this was from a couple weeks ago, but the lore channel said that Zarakon originally had some quests and lore surrounding him that were taken out during Beta of EoF, and that Waansu was theorized to be a pet. It was too early into the expansion for anyone to have found out yet. |

![]() Waansu is a dragon in a test tube, and when you go to kill Perah, he flees (hard mode) and releases Waansu. I mean, unless there are books in Labs (heroic or x4) then I'm not sure based on the script of the raid, or the actual speach from Perah or Waansu leads to any lore...

But Waansu must be another dragon than the one in the central test tube in his lab. Since it's still in there when you fight Waansu. I don't know where he keeps it, but he must have some mighty big closets. |

Tis the same dragon--the test tube-dragon not breaking is an art bug that we'll get fixed!

Yea, I wouldn't mind another house item to go with it as well. I was kinda disappointed the Test Subject we got from the heroic zone was only the mushroom and couldn't be any of the other various subjects. |

![]() So, it's been a while now. I've raided and killed both Waansu and Perah many a time...as well as the heroic version of the zone. Still don't see any relevant explanation on either characters so I am going to go ahead and say that whatever backstory they may have, is firmly out of reach and out of mind of us players. |

Eh by now i think we do know a few things... Perah is still a corrupt scholar in the group instance of the labs. We know that during the Paw of Opalla HQ that the erudite scholar Nabih has us get the aITEM 94533683 -2001735881:The Chronicon Temporum/a from the Erudin Library. Exactly why is a little shaded in mystery. However if it has to do with the Paw of Opolla its a good chance it was one of the black books of Necromancy Gynok had with him when he fled Qeynos after chopping her hand off. What I think happened was later on when we meet Perah again in the Raid zone, he's learned from the book and turned himself into a Lichform being rather then dark enthusiast scholar he once was. Though exactly how Wansuu and the others fit in is tough to determine. We know that there is a "nice" dragon that helps us later in the Epic spell quest that is a female. Who happens to look alot like Wansuu in dragon-like regards. Was it her mate.. thats a bit harder to say. a side note: Then as we go further into the quest Butrus the rival of the above scholars was closer to getting the next black book from the last place it was known to be, Befallen. This was thought also to be one of the necromantic books Gynok had possesion of as a corrupt Guard Captain running an underground black market. aITEM -1978978380 -1993279078:The Enchiridion of Undeath/a
