Memory question and performance issues please any help.

I want to upgrade to 6 gigs to play this game. I have 2 x 2gb sticks. If i want to upgrade another 2 I have to buy 2 x1 gb sticks. Will having 2 x 2gb sticks and 2x1gb sticks affect performance?

This is what Im running below. Also is there an updated performance guide out there as to awesome visual graphics and good performance? Cause my FPS is stinking in this game. around 22-30 fps anywhere. I would think I would have a good enough PC to run this thing max.
