I'm having the same problem.

I've canceled the process and relogged in about 10 times but it does the same thing everytime.

I get to fine - Download: cards.rcc_delta...

then it goes to - Decompress: cards.rcc_delta...

And it cancels itself out every time.  I try to hit download on the patcher screen too but it does the same as stated above.

I'm having the same problem.  Here's the error message:

There was a problem moving C:Program FilesSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IIlp_tempEverQuest2.exe_delta_8836_308.patched to C:Program FilesSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IIEverQuest2.exe. Please make sure the game is not running.

The game is not running and I am running as administrator.  Worked fine yesterday.  I have no idea what to do now, help please!

I'm having the exact same problem as above. I've tried restarting, clearing cache and defragging and same error message:

Ok, my bad I shoulda read further. I shut the patcher down completely and had to set it all over again to run as administrator as was mentioned in another thread. works fine now. SMILEY

I've tried this several times now and it just starts into that endless error cycle again, so I'm really clueless right now.

Hmmm, 8th time lucky I guess, it finally worked!

Having this exact problem. Was able to log in once since I got SF. It's been in a loop with this error message for about 2 hours now.
