How long is normal to wait on a petition? (bugged quest stopping Paniel timeline)

Ok so it was lag or something but basically I'm bugged on a quest in the timeline.

Submitted a ticket yesterday afternoon and still no response. So what kind of time is normal for these things? I wouldn't care except its completely blocking me from progressing on the timeline.

I was in beta and I know exactly what I am supposed to be doing, but the quest disappeared, one NPC is still giving the quest complete dialog but nothing is dinging or updating and the next in the line is still asking me to complete the one before.
