in-game browser crashing game and keymaps

It seems in the last few weeks, every time i use the in-game browser to research a quest, about 30 seconds afterwards i get a client error.

Reproducable 100% of the time.

Also, since correcting a UI bug that was causing the game to crash, last year, I always have to load my saved keymaps when I log in to a new session. Any ideas why or how to fix?
