Character Transfer Terms and Conditions Wording

Here is a quote from the Character Transfer page:

"A character's guild affiliation will be removed and the affiliated guild will lose any status points contributed by the transferred character"

The way this is worded says (to me) that, if you transfer a character still in a guild, the guild will lose all status that you have previously earned for that guild.

The way I understand earned guild status is that if you leave a guild all status you have earned for the guild to that point remains with the guild and your display of guild status on your persona window is reset to 0.

Can someone answer as to what really happens in both instances?

I only see that you will be removed from the guild. WHere exactly do you see this? Could it be an old page by any chance?

If you consider the dropdown menu provided on the OFFICIAL EQ2Players website Shop selection to Character transfer that I just checked an old page, then yes I looked at an old page and SOE needs to update EQ2Players website to reflect what is current which is why I posted this in the EQ2Players forum NOT account Related Support.

I just want to know which is correct. m

are you deep lining to the eq2plaers website? DO not see a dropdown menu for character transfer on the new site. Character transfer is referenced by a hypelink on the redesigned website, not a drop down box.

If you follow your link (same one I used initially), at the top of the page is a horizontal list of 9 sections of the website. When you roll your mouse over shop, you get a dropdown meno with an option for Character Transfer Service. This is what I am referring to. And your hyperlink at the bottom of the page brings you to the same page with the same wording that I am trying to get clarified.

I see the single line that you mention now, thing is the removal of guild status points when a member disbands or is removed was pulled from the game about 2 years ago, guess that is why I just glossed over it.
