CTD on start

I've just bought the game from Steam, downloaded it, and updated it. The launcher says everything is right, but when I click play, the screen goes black and I can see the mouse with the shape of the game, and even move it, but then suddenly it goes back to desktop without any message.

If I remove Full Screen option, the window appears (all black) and then I get an error message:

Failed to init Arial. You may need to reboot before some fonts will load.

Any ideas?

Fixed it. Just had to add r_font_ft 0 to Eq2.ini.
