Highland Stalker mount

Just watched the vid for the new highland stalker and I'm just curious whats up with the artwork. Whats with the odd looking fur on the chest and why does it not have eyes? I keep feeling unimpressed with the mounts in EQ2. The horse based mounts and rhinos seem to be the only normal looking mounts. The wolf mounts are alright besides the constant spit dropping effect. Their drool droplets are like the size of golf balls and don't even look like spit but rather some kind of foggy sphere magical effect.

Now we've got another weird looking mount that has no eyes and just doesn't have the texture quality that you can see in many other models in-game. The EQ 1 mounts look better than some of these EQ2 mounts.

And how is this in ANY way related to any of the test servers? You might get a better response . . . I'm thinking . . . maybe . . . if this was put in Expansions and Adventure packs . . . since this topic involves an item coming out with the next expansion.
