Why, whenever an update includes the 'cards' or 'resources' file from LON does the update cancel at the end of the download of either file?  The only way around it is to delete those two files and restart the eq2 launcher, then wait 45 min to an hour to reload 300mb of data. I only use the EQ2 launcher. That is why the question is here and not on the LON board. HELP!

hmmm.  I dont seem to have that problem.  Any chance that you are using Vista?

[TECH] Video Walkthrough: Download Cancelled Error or Play Button will not appear (Vista)

You mention that it happens when LoN updates, could it be a firewall issue where the firewall no longer recognizes the patcher due to something changing?

I am running windows xp sp3 and today also had the same issue as discribed here.  I tried different options with the launcher perferences including doing a full scan first and it does the same thing.

I do not play LoN at all and have to deal with this is kind of a pain.  For those of us who dont care at all about LoN there should be an option to just fully disable it.  Or is that an option already?
