SK/Fury duo

Are any of the TSO instance's duoable?

Due to my play time (I'm uk based) and family commitments I struggle to find the time to be able to join pug's to do the instances. I'm duoing an SK and a Fury and they are both decently equipped given the time I have (never raided either due to time etc..), i have tried what i believe are the -easy- instances like Deep Forge and Scion of Ice. The Deep Forge i can happily clear the trash but i have only tried The Doomsmith and Cruhm the Overseer and both wipe me quite easily. In the Scion of Ice i can clear some trash but the minotaur past the golems completely wasted me. From checking ACT it seems that although my aviodance is at around 63/64% with buffs etc i am only avoiding around 35/40% of hits which maybe why i am getting killed very easily, then again maybe i'm trying to punch above my weight.

In defensive stance i have 65.5% mit and about 63/64% avoidance with buffs from the Fury and food/drink. Both characters are in T2 shard with the execption of the SK helm.

The other option i have though of is adding a dirge to make it a 3 box, would this make much difference to survivability?

Any advice is appreciated or even suggestions on places to duo to pick up better items/masters. I only have about 2 or 3 masters on each char.
