Hey there.

I have collected some pirate skulls from skeletons. When I click on them they ask if I want to place them on the ground. When I do, they just shatter.

I have tried placing them in different places, like the cemetary, but the same thing happens.

Is there somewhere special to place them, or maybe I have to hold onto them for something in the future ?

Thanks.

You are on the Queens Colony I assume?  Place them on the large rock in the river by the goblin treehouse.  That big blobb that hangs out in the water there will eat them, get bigger and will eventually become agressive.  But... he's a toughy.  You may want more people to help you with him.

Goodness me, I don't know how you managed to suss that out ?!?!

I think I know the blob you mean, as it has a name...............can't think of it off hand.

It's grey to me, but I will give it a try anyway.

Thanks for that.

Be thankful for small favors; if he's indeed grey then you'll find no problems. BUT, if you aggro him while he isn't gray then be prepared to DIE.  Heh heh, muhahahhahaha !!

I believe that blob, once properly feed, will be aggro to anyone under level 10. You'll need 6 skulls (if I recall correctly) to morph it into megablob. It is soloable if you're of sufficient level, say 7 and higher, but it isn't a push over.

There is a large hawk in the Outpost of the Overlord that is much the same. Drop 5 or 6 large mole rats one the hill near the Falconer while the large hawk is flying close by and hope for the best.

There is a book up in the goblin treehouse that describes how to use the pirate skulls.

Hmmm, that might have put a hole in my boat.

I have reached lvl10, so maybe it's a waste of time after all.

Also, the skeletons ( fallen brigands or whatever ) are grey, so they probably won't drop anymore skulls. I only have the one left, as I i used several testing out various ( wrong) theories.

They aren't "drops" per se...they sort of appear on the ground when you kill one of the skeletons. I don't expect them being grey will affect that.

It won't. The blob mob will simply be grey to you when it spawns. You could always be evil and spawn it just before taking the boat to the mainland.

at level 9 one can solo him with most classes, he's not to terribly difficult. Much easier then the giant hawk on the evil island.

the blob is called "The Guurok" - I always went after him with my Q starters. One of his drops is the "gooey ear plug" earring which always gave me a laugh.
