The Antonican Adventurer exploration achievement lists The Antonican Basin as a POI.  I spent all last night looking for it and haven't found it yet.  I did a grep of every log file I have, and it didn't find it either.  Has anyone else ever found that location?  Maybe it isn't in the game yet?

This POI appears to be completely unaccessible by players. I have removed it from the Achievement - you should see the fix on test shortly.

Unfortunately, this does mean that the achievement itself will be completely reset to what is stored in your AAs.

uh .. it is accessable but it's not exactly one of those that you would immediately think of ..

It's the Firemyst Gully .. or at least right up next to the door.

---

Niami found it .. she was going to drop a link to you Heilig .. but I guess she forgot with all the other stuff she's been juggling .. =)

Sounds like it doesn't need to be removed at all then if it's accessible by players.

Yeah, it sounds like the Lesser Faydark Canyon and Loping Plains Canyons in Greater Faydark.  The hot spot for those discoveries is about a thumbnail wide.  As long as we can get to them, I'm all for leaving them in.  I was just hoping someone had found them.

I just confirmed that the POI is still accessible.  You don't even have to be that close to the door.  It's an easy update.  I don't know why I didn't see it before.  I ran all around Firemyst Gully thinking that might be it.  But then again, I'm a dwarf.  You have to hit me with a 2x4 to get my attention.

I fixed those two points of interest. You now have quite a bit more space to trigger those. As for The Antonican Basin, that point of interest is located in an awkward place, and while the borders may be accessible to players, the vast majority of the area it covers (and was intended to cover) is not.

I'll take a look tomorrow and see what I can do in regards to expanding the point of interest and adding it back to the Achievement. No promises, but we'll see!

I looked for Shark Bait Rock for hours SMILEY

Turns out, its not a rock, it's a piece of wall. It's next to Bird rock and The Lost Wall. Had to climb ontop of it to update.

We've added a POI to the map that will show the location of Shark Bait Rock.  Its there and it does work.

Go NW from Smugglers dock and look for wat looks like the top of a broken tpwer. Yo can even see som eremaons of crenellations along the top edge. Now, go up to it and UP the slant to get the update. does NOT update at the water line.

If they do not update when you run through the canyons on the way to those zones, then they didn't make it to test and I'll take a look at it again on Tuesday.

Regardless, they're fixed internally and will be to test as soon as possible!

You can find the canyons in the Greater Faydark, even on the live servers.  They're just very hard to find:

Lesser Faydark Canyon 749, 6, 356

Loping Plains Canyon 147, 6, 617

You can get a list of all the POIs that I know of here:
