![]() Does anyone have any information on brownies? I've found a few links here and there.. but nothing pointing to origin. http://www.lorelibrary.com/?page=book&bid=399 http://www.lorelibrary.com/?page=bo...amp;ss=brownies So far all I have is this... They are just tiny little brown people who act similar to angry hippies. Mess with nature, mess with them. They were assumed creations of Tunare, though that's not stated anywhere. They are friends with Fae, and are credited with saving Kelethin from an orc invasion. |

![]() Brownies have existed since well before the Age of Turmoil (ie: EQ1). They are one of Tunare's devilish creations, however little else is known about them other than they are quite intelligent and have established...ahem, little societies. They are related to the Fae (distant cousins really), and were one of the major powers that ultimately saved Kelethin during the final days of the War of the Fay. It's unknown why they chose to rescue Kelethin, and after rescuing Kelethin they retreated back to the Lesser Faydark also for unknown reasons.. They were quite the nuisance in EQ1, I can assure you. |

![]() In my research for my (super-shrunk Wood Elf) Brownie character, Niva, I gleaned that above all things, Brownies in EQ2 love to fight. They relish it and jump at the opportunity to show their quicksilver speed and agility, and the strength to be found in numbers. One might guess that they rushed to Kelethin's aid, not to do a good deed or help friends, but just because they enjoy a good brawl. And perhaps to preserve their nearest source of plunderable goods...

![]() Brownie flesh is also the source of Norrathian chocolate. True story. (Brownies drop brownie parts in EQ1 which are used to make chocolate http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/...html?recipe=937). They like elementals and hate tall people (again, EQ1. As an enchanter to buy the various mana recipes from them, you had to turn into an elemental factioned illusion -- tree, spirit wolf, or an elemental). They like to annoy halflings (a la Nillipuss). Mostly, never trust a brownie. |

![]() Nillipuss is the exception, not the rule. He's the only one found in Rivervale. A rogue brownie seperated from the rest of the race. |
