Does anyone have a clue about its source? Is Deathtoll involved? Is blood involved? I know Deathtoll contains several "blood related" mobs such as writhing corpuscles, plasma spirits, and cruor spirits...

Thanks for any feedback!

The Halls of Fate explains what the purple/blue ooze found all over the Bonemire is. It's origins are not explained, nor what it actually is, but it is used as a necromantic embalming fluid of sorts. There's a few quests that reveal bits and pieces, though it's never the actual focus.

It was time for a change, and I finally found a picture where I could use my favorite character as a sig.
