Not really sure where else to post this, I guess it qualifies here...

Since the Jul 29th update, I have had a persistent echo (but only in certain conditions) example: all button clicks are echoed, my mounts galloping, mariner's bells...  spells and music, no.  I've restarted (twice) checked my audio settings (Miles 2D, System Default for speakers) even tried playing around with those (Miles, Dolby and Creative EX2 along with different speaker settings, all the same results) ...  anyone else having this issue?  It's extremely annoying galloping around in the thundering steppes with that echo...  Thanks in advance!

Sound Card is a C-Media AC97 (on board) driver version 5.12.1.51  all checks show this is the most updated driver.  All other multimedia functions on the machine work just fine, and this is only a couple of days old.

Windows XP Pro, SP3 - all critical updates applied

P4 2.8Ghz (yes, I know, I need a new machine, so why don't you go buy me one instead of telling me that LOL) 2Gb RAM.

As I said, this machine hasn't had any issues until the last patch (or at least, since the game Window shows the client as Jul 29th) and it's just a couple of sounds, not the whole audio setup...

Thanks in advance!

This used to happen to me with my old P4 setup as well.  It would usually happen if I left my computer on for long periods of time.  As you mentioned, a reboot/cold boot will usually correct the issue.  Let us know if you need any assistance in the future.
