When I went to login this morning, I kept getting an error message telling me my password was incorrect, despite knowing it was correct.  Regardless, I selected the "Forgot my password" option, and lo and behold, I received an email with a link asking me if I really wanted to reset my password.  Well of course I wanted to reset my password, so I clicked the link.  I was then informed that a temporary password was being sent to this email, at which time I would be able to login with that temporary password, then change it as I pleased.  Here I am, two hours later, with no temporary password email.  I have tried clicking the link again to reset my password and it tells me, Hey! you can't do that! You can only reset your password once every 24 hours.  And by the way, if our system failed to process your request properly, don't bother calling us because we don't provide customer support on weekends.  I mean, why would an international company the size of Sony need 24/7 customer service?  Silly me...So here I am on Sunday morning with an account I can't log into thanks to Sony's poor customer service.  I should've listened to my brother years ago when he left SWG for WoW because of Sony's poor customer service.  In case your wondering, my email and internet are both working, and I can ping Sony's mail server np.  I have processed other requests with Sony support from a different account and received confirmation emails from Sony to the same email address.  I also tested a request for forgotten password on another account and never even received the initial email with the link lolz.  Sony you rock!

1. Is the email you have on file the same one that you have now?

2. have you checked the spam filter - a number of ISP's - charter, comcast, Times Warner for a few - have over ambitious spam filters that through a lot of valid emails to the junk filter.

3. all else fails contact them monday mornig during their normal business hours of 10 AM to 7 PM pacific - make sure to adjust those times to match your time zone

4. is this the same account that you are trying to logon in the game? Something must have worked because it uses the same account information to log on the forums as the game

Greetings,

If you haven't already, then give us a call so that we can verify some info and give you a new password.  We actually do have support on weekends, though.  We have people here all weekend from 10am-7pm answering e-mails.  I believe this weekend the wait time for a response was actually pretty low as well since there were no e-mails left when I arrived at the office today.  If you have a similar issue in the future then please send us an e-mail.

I have included a link with all of our contact info below in case you don't have it on hand:
