Player-Written Notebooks - Cost?

I'm curious about the cost to make one of these notebooks, can someone fill me in? Also, what's the general concensus on broker pricing?

Depends on how much the sage is charging to make a profit off the materials used to make it.

Hidebound books require the T8 rare leather to make, so seeing them go for more than a plat is understandable.

1P?! What about for leatherbound?I can understand higher tier items costing more, but doesn't that kinda defeat the whole idea of Player-Written books? I mean, you don't walk into a Coles bookstore and lay down $1000 for a paperback! O.o

Its based off the cost of the rare, like most crafted items that require a rare.

My advice is to harvest the rares then find a sage willing to make the books for you at a price you deem reasonable.

You're gonna find all 8 going anywhere from 5 gold to 5 plat on Kithicor. All of those more than 1 Plat are hidebound themselves, so everything else is cheaper.
