I downloaded a new launcher from a returning customers link to the client.

I had some difficulties getting the patcher to start, however it seemed to download 2gb while I slept last night. Now I'm trying to start the patcher for while I'm at work it hangs at 0% and gives an absurd ETA.

Any help someone can give on this issue is greatly appreciated

The patcher can take some time to download all the info that you need.  The game is about 11 gigs...and it is known to have a bad estimation of time.

Some people have mentioned that the station launcher is better to download the game with.  Perhaps you can try that.  Also be sure that you firewall/av program are set up to allow the game through.

The patcher will show an overly long time at first, but it should be fairly accurate once it establishes a better connection.  Within about 5 minutes the time estimate should be reasonably accurate.  What kind of internet connection are you using?  Any kind of broadband besides cellular wifi or maybe satellite should download the game in less than 6-8 hours.  It's usually about 3 hours in my case with a cable connection.

If it's still quoting substantially longer than that after about 5 minutes then there's probably something blocking the download.  If it isn't hanging completely then it's probably a router.  You'll probably want to try bypassing your router to plug the computer directly into the modem to see if that corrects the problem.  Let me know if you have any further questions.
