I'm from Malaysia, i bought the box version of TSO through Ebay. it took me 20 days to get it.  The postage itself was costing me at USD15 butts.

Well, i installed it. and it said it needs a subscription for my existing account. So..i paid a $14.99 for a 30days plan through my credit card.

Ok. after that all. I'm shocked looking at the patcher screen that says it needs 480 hrs of patching.  It's around 20 days aagin! I subscribed a 30days plan and now it force me to use around 20days to sitting infront of my PC and look at the DOWNLOADING.......

so..who's gonna to pay for this?? am I the one ?

or Is there any issue to help? please~!

You will need to pay for it, thats just silly to ask.  I know I am not going to pay for you.

Of course if you call them on Monday I am sure they can give you some game time.

What make you so sure that the SOE will give me some game time regarding to this matter?

but if they really do, means that they' pay for me...at least part of it.  I'll be very much appreciate it and it is the main purpose of this so-called silly post. only if you're right.

Of coz i'm not asking you to pay for me...I'm not even know who you are but anyway thanks for the useless answer.

as an added note , the patcher is well known for giving a false 'time left' value , often re-starting the patcher will bring up a faster download / different value as it sometimes gets stuck for some reason.

unless you're using a modem instead of cable , you don't mention your connection speed.

yaya. that was really a useful info for me. after only 24hrs the timeleft value changed from 480 hrs to 84 hrs... i'm using a modem and my connection speed = 10M/1M...

Thanks a lot wullailhuit.

I am not fully 100% sure.  I just go off of comments from TSRs about this.

I'm a halfling that likes pie and Jumjum.  I usually pass out sliced jumjum to my groups before a big battle.
