Hi all..

Just finished my betrayal from Freeport to Queynos and became a guardian.  Im currently lvl 78 with 101 aa's.  Most all my combat arts are upgraded to Apprentive IV.  I dont have alot of plat at the moment to finish upgrading them all to Adept 1's or Masters but am working on that thru sales I make off the broker.  So my question as a new Guardian trying to solo my way to 80 what would be the best AA build with my 101 points I have to spend at the moment?  With maximizing my Dps output and staying alive the longest.   IE:  STR 8/8/8/8/1  STA 8/4/2/8  and so forth.  I really appreciate it your help on this and please dont link me to another site to look this information up.  Thats what I thought this forum was for.  To get direct help from all of you nice people here.

And if possible I know I am asking alot here...

With the same amount of 101 AA points where should I spend them if I wanted to maximize my Tanking ability in a group?

Thanks again for your help on this and have a great day.

Kane

My advice might differ with gear selection.  As an example, i wouldn't consider soloing with a shield, but your gear may require it.  Making the assumption your gear is average for 78, here is my recomendation:

Bind wound  - 1INT 4/4/6/8/2STA 4/4/8/8STR 4/4/8

TSO

5hp/5power

Guard25 pts required for double attack

I'm sorry I don't ahve the screen in front of me for exactly what to pick going down to dblatk, but its a fairly straight forward decision path as I recall.

As you get more aa, start advancing tso line from here.

A tanking spec, you'll want STR 4/4/8/6 and AGI 4/1 if you can manage the space.  Some will tell you to drop int for agi, I don't support this, learn to time your reinforcment with aoe strikes and agi is NOT required for aoe aggro.  Add mutagenic procs as needed.

In all seriousness, don't group, go finish your soloquest first.

thanks for the info pal.  I appreciate it.  Ill try it out and see and I prob wont be grouping much until I hit 80...btw all my gear is 77 MC including all my jewelry.  I also have nice lvl 70 adorments such as extra Str/Agi/St/haste/attack rating.  My current HP with Def stance on my current aa build is 10,862.  Cant log in the game and tell u the exact points and where they are since I am work.

I recomend piling on the solo quests, only 101 aa at 78 is a bit behind the curve as is.  I dinged my inq 75/110 yesterday, still shooting for as close to 80/140 as I can get though I know I wont make it.

The additional aa to get the fighter line in tso and the block line from guardian will make you a much better tank, but I don't see a path to that with 100 aa without giving up too much in warrior.  The warrior lines are by far the best bang for the buck.
