![]() I bought the plushie the other day, used my "free" money, but he's HUGE ... Can someone tweak his scale down size to be smaller? I like the fact that he can get as high as the ceiling in the T2 Guild halls but he can only be scaled down to approx halfling size. I like to be able to scale plushies (and other knickknacks) down to Book/shelf size. oh .. and .. More Plushies, please!!!! |

![]() I love the graphic on that horned hat. Hopefully something like that will show up in game someday.

For now.. Yes. But, who knows what Domino and the artists have been working on for down the road. In the meantime.. break out the credit card or appreciate the styles you haven't tried out yet. At last count, I think there were over a 400 different combinations available per class for the appearance slots. |

![]() Aye, perhaps, but I always wonder if we get as many fun items and interesting rewards as we would if they weren't being syphoned off to be Station cash and Legends of Norrath rewards. I remember, in EQ2's early days, we used to get an entire mini-expansion (Or Adventure packs as I think they called them) for ten dollars. Splitpaw, Bloodlines, or my favourite, the Fallen Dynasty. I paid for them willingly. They were a good chunk of content, and included plenty of interesting items as part of that. Now we just get some recoloured armour, or some pre-existing critter-model dropped into a pet template, and I can't help feeling that we are getting an awful lot less for our money than before. Our expectations have been managed downwards, and things that we would have reasonably expected to be paid for by our subscription are now expensive extras. At a time when many people are looking at their financial outgoings with a bleak eye, it is an unattractive strategy on the part of SOE to create this two-tier system. |

I wouldn't say that, and I did not say that. I wasn't going to return to this thread, having said my piece, but I can't let you mischaracterise the argument. It was clear I was talking about when we are asked to pay extra, over and above our subscription. We still got free game updates during the days of the Adventure packs too. So please, lets compare apples with apples, shall we? GU should be compared with other GU. Extra things we pay for seperately should be compared with other extras. Using wiki to refresh my memory, these were the three adventure packs: The Bloodline Chronicles is the first Adventure Pack for EverQuest II. It introduced new areas, new items and new monsters. * Five new areas, including the Tombs of Night, the Crypt of T'haen and D'Morte Burial Chambers. * Experience new instances for soloists, large and small groups and raids. * new creatures such as Vampires, Hellhounds, Fleshgoyles and Revenants. * new quests with different storylines for good and evil players alike. * ways to interact with the environment, including destructible walls * themed content, including vampiric magic-based spells and items. * Discover new Neriak items for players of all levels. The Splitpaw Saga is the second Adventure Pack for EverQuest II. It introduced new areas, new items and new monsters. The adventure pack allows characters to use moveable planks, crates and barrels in a series of event-based zones where they will face gnolls opponents designed for players between 20th and 50th level. * 12 different solo, group and raid instances. * 2 new dungeons with twelve additional instanced zones. * Dozens of scenario-based quests. * Foes scale to match the players' levels. The Fallen Dynasty is the third adventure pack. It introduced new areas, new items, new monsters and quest lines. It added new content for characters levels 55 through 70: * Seven areas to explore * New solo and small group quests lines, as well as heroic and epic encounters for levels 55 through 70. * Brand new collection and tome quests * new artisan rewards that assist in the crafting process * Many new items, including weapons designed in the Fallen Dynasty theme And they cost between $4.99 and $7.99. Now they want that for a decorative hat. Most people would say that we are getting less value for our money. I deeply regret that they gave up on the Adventure Packs, and moved to just selling items as their additional revenue stream. |

![]() Nobody forces you to buy these items and they are not required. I understand the frustration, but you should also look at the big picture of the importance of additional funds for EQ2. I don't see the big deal until they add essential items for purchase. |

![]() I would like to see SC bring in some of the NPC design clothes to see how they would go over, with the intention that if they did well, they would bring them permenatley into the game. Clothing such as that from Desert Sands and Isle of Mara. (I actually did get one of the sets of armor. . the one with the Troubadour hat. . just like all of my low level characters did the D.I.R.T.Y quests and bought the carpet from Sands. ) As far as I know. . . .this is the only game whee you can have 2 sets of clothing on you (Appearance and Armor).. if I'm wrong, dont chastise me too badly since I only play 3 games. . .and the Appearance is something I wish the other 2 would implement! (of course Guild Wars doesn't really have to because their armor looks like "Clothing" anyway. unless they went to allowing everyone to wear all the clothes despite class) Anyway. .that is want I would like to see. . . reguardless of weather I would pay for it or not. .I would still like to see it. The choice to buy it would be mine. |

LOTRO -- Lord of the Rings Online -- also has appearance slots. In fact, IIRC, LOTRO has two appearance layouts per character, & you can switch them by mouse-clicking a "button" on your persona screen. I hate to admit that the Magikal Kobold Plushie is awful tempting, especially since I wouldn't have to actually pay for it; I can use my 100 free Smed Bucks, instead. But that would mean using the Station Cash Marketplace ... which I don't want to do, because even one use implies acceptance. Soooooo, no Kobold plushie for me

I'll have to agree with you there Xenar... give me something like the DE armor looked back in EQ at the least. Let me wear the hollowed-out skull of some fallen enemy in my head, or a 'Robe of Dripping Flesh'; something other than these vanilla-looking trinkets. Let us evil folks look evil on the outside and I 'might' actually pay for something on the Marketplace. Otherwise I'm perfectly content to completely ignore the thing. Faerless |
