Would this be an effective duo? I know they both can go melee and heal. The mystic has a pet and the warden can charm one, right? I just don't know how much damage we would do. I would guess groups might not want two healers but we would probably have a spot in raids? Anyway, I have to figure out what buffs/debuffs wardens and mystics have, caster or melee oriented and if they are more buffs than debuffs.....

Wardens can do some good damage once they get enough AAs but you will be doing less damage then many other duos. Also most groups don't mind taking a second healer, infact some groups at 80 even require it. Just know that you will kill slower then other combos though, but if you like the flavor class go for it.

Would we kill slower than a SK/Inq duo? I was also thinking of Swash or Brig with mystic or warden.

Well, my warden kills stuff slower then my friend's Conjuror, but about twice as fast as another friend's Guardian (all 48-50, they have several masters, and a ton of AD3's, and I have no masters, just AD3 heals and my AA'd CA's).

That is hard to say with the comming Fighter revamp, however right now I would say SK/Inq would be slightly slower, though not by much IF both where damage spec'd(though this harms groupablity), however that duo should not have trouble getting a group as 2 parts of the holy trinity.

Swash or Brig would be good, with a Mystic(they avoid more then Midigate) as Swash does good dps and can tank fairly well(with the correct spec), though not as good as a True tank. The cool thing with Swash/brig is they can use poisions, and at level 50 that list includes Vitality breach wich is a fairly nice life tap(you get health, MoB takes damage). Getting some Vampiric Pith Adornments, and a few other heal procs and health staying alive won't be much of an issue.

I have to comment, that if you are set on doing a healer/dps or healer/tank combo, Warden or Fury is a REALLY good healer, fastest casting heals, and being that their heals are Heal Over Time spells, very effective against steady damage. Our heals are a bit worse against spike damage, but against everything else, it is great.

As a melee Warden spec, my power pool is less than it could be, but I can easily main heal instances at my level without worrying about it. I do need to get an AA mirror soon and get a healing set of gear as well, but that will come in the future SMILEY
