![]() i downloaded and played the trial for its full duration and thought: hey this is pretty swell. so i downloaded the steam version and i seem to be having two problems.. firstly my trial period carachters are gone (but i can live with this). second, and much more important; i can only see the american servers. how do i change this?is it because the steam download is by default the amarican version? that would be kind of silly as i purchased it from the european version of the store. |

![]() There is an EULA screen that pops up when you start Everquest 2, prior to actually logging into your account and starting the game (on the normal version anyway, not sure about Steam). The top right corner of the EULA screen has an option to selection which Language/Region you are in and will display corresponding servers when you go to create a character or log in to the game. This might be different from the steam Version, though. |

On the EULA screen he'll want to set it to "English - EU", assuming you're trying to access the European servers. Let me know if you're looking for a different server and I will tell you the correct region setting. You should be able to transfer your trial character to the full version as well. Simply log into the character using the trial client and type /movelog and it should allow you to select the server you want.
