![]() I have yet to have a close fight on my Zerk 1v1 with a SK. Can anyone offer an effective strategy against these vile creations :-/ . With their Mana taps, Life taps, great mit and dps, I just cannot seem to get through them....at any level. Honestly makes me want to ditch my zerk and roll SK, even more so now with the new changes coming up.... any comments/suggestions would help. TY |

![]() find one that truly sucks, i tried tank gear and dps gear stringing my interrupts and i still got severely owned by an SK with lesser quality gear. |

![]() They are like impossible to fight. I only win maybe 1 outa 7 1v1 fights vs an SK. I've found my only reasonable strat is when im fully wisdom spec'd. I stand in defensive, and start of with shield slam followed by belly smash. I macro my off hand weapon out and get an auto attack off with both weaps. By now the SK is usually at least in the yellow. I've found most of them try to HT at this point for the lifetap but with is resist rate, I hit my taunt interupt and start "bloodshower". This is where it hinges. Once bloodshower is off I macro my shield back in (tower) and i hit them with ram for the stifle. At that point you have 3 seconds to finish them off. Otherwise GG. PS i wear my tanking gear. |

![]() I'm pretty sure you can't switch out equipment while in pvp combat. As far as 1v1 with SK's, I'm sure you can find this same exact post on many other class forums. Coercers and bruisers are similar, very deadly 1v1. I suppose its nearly impossible to equally balance 24 classes in a pvp enviornment. My only suggestion would be to avoid a 1v1 with these classes...as I have...and only fight them with numbers. |

![]() Yea you can switch weapon slots, just not armor and jewelry.

![]() Me, I find battling with SK's is a pretty hopeless fight, BUT, ... what I do, is just come in full-force. Berserkers do significantly more burst dps than SK if played properly. I generally dual-wield against them as most of the SK's greater attacks are of spell damage, and the extra damage from the secondary is crucial to actually pulling it off. So to start, up goes Bind-Wound, Turmoil, Juggernaut, and Adrenaline as a must(anything else, is good, and will surely help but those are a must) I come in with my troll-tradition, Brutal-Bashing macro'd with Bellysmash, gives you just enough time to get off Acceleration-Strike, which I have macro'd with my Ram. My ram is spec'd so the stifle lasts a little bit longer - Executioner's-Wrath macrod with Frenzied-Hits, hoping it crits for the extra damage, then just expend the rest of the CA's you can as quickly as possible, EVERYTHING YOU GOT. I often will quickly switch to my shield as well, for the Shield-Bash, which also I have spec'd for extra stun time(by this time, stun immunity from my first stun is gone), then back to my dual wield. Bust off EVERY CA you got as fast as you possibly can(AE-Taunts and all) and simply Pray that you can deal enough damage quickly enough to kill them before they get off those rancid heals they got. I kill an SK in one vs one, a decent % of the time. All has to do with your CA casting order, and the DMG those CA's deal. I am fully mastered, and have my myth, and RoK-pvp-Axe as my secondary and I still rarely come by victory against this broken class, but again, I Do take my decent share of victories over them. ... If the SK player is a complete noob and not very well geared, then I find no problem if felling them, but if they're the opposite of either one of those factors, or BOTH, ... don't really waist your time fighting them, unless you're feeling brave and want to truly test your skills as a Berserker. |
