Ever since the hotfix yesterday, where they nerfed the summoner's shard "power proc" robe, it seems the necro's pets are barely doing anything.  My girlfriend parsed, 6-7k on raids, 4-5k in groups before the hotfix.  Now, her mage pet is hardly hitting anything, hardly critting, and her raid parse is down between 2-4k.  She has done nothing different, and has not changed AA specs since the hotfix.  Is anyone else experiencing this?

Could be one of those hotfix's where they think they are goig to go in and fix something but break someting else and not know it. Unless it was just a straight out ninja nerf. I would report it as a bug or even petition it.

You need to provide a parse with a clear break down ...ACT is what ya want to post here.

The robe was Fixed... not nerfed.   It had a 100% proc rate prior to yesterday and was doing ridiculous dps.   it's now proc'ing as it should (though haven't tested it myself yet).

Look at ACT and see what the difference was on the same zone this week and last week and you should have your answer.

The fix wasn't ninja... check out the two active threads in this section and in the combat section.   There was been too much discussion already about this single broken piece of gear.

edit: lol i posted 1 second after ya bigron

*sigh*

Makes me sad anyway. Summoners rendered useless again. Gonna dust off some alts.

Yeah because having that 1 robe "fixed" ruined our class, we are now useless without it.

That robe didn't really make much difference on the parse.  The main thing it offered was Power Regen.

I haven't noticed anymore than a 300 to 400DPS decrease since the hotfix.  And that's easily made up for by putting on a different DPS focused robe like SMR.

Well, she usually does 6-7k on VP trash, but last night was in the 3k range all night.  She had the same troubador in her group each time, with exact gear and exact spec.  I need to get the raid leader to mail me the parses, and i'll post it.  I only have one parse, since I wasn't in the VP raid last night.

OK - this is just patently misleading.  That robe on the training dummy was 1k added dps easy - hella more if you had Horde up.

The OP might want to tell his GF to switchback to her old robe.

We were useless before the robe...and remain as such.

1k for a conjy using plane shift yes barely.  And only with serious gear.  (Plane shift pet cast spells very much faster k)

For a Necro not even remotely possible.  Even if every single proc crit for the duration you still can't squeez 1k DPS from a spell proc when yer pet can only cast a spell every 2 to 3 seconds.
