![]() Well tested a for a while using parses and such. Here are my thoughts on the changes, along with my own suggestions on how to fix the issues I bring up. In defensive we lose 25% of our auto attack damage (from stance) and about 15% (10% from stance, 5% from unholy arms proccage) from spells vs how it is now. This is fine as we have been given increased hate to make up for it. It will however impact low DPS groups negatively, especially seeing as we cant tank in offensive even if we wanted to. Solution is to simply lower the penaltys somewhat on the dps. 30 - 40% less dps is quite a bit. The offensive stance is kind of meh to be honest. It has even more drawbacks than before meaning defensive is still the best way to solo heroic mobs or even just tough solo mobs. Also the Innoruks caress spell on the defensive has a massive taunt proc etc thats all well and good, but offensive has but a 100 dmg proc (which might I add the defensive stance has also, in addition the the taunt proc). Perhaps adding a small lifetap and bumping up the dmg slightly on the offensive stance version would make it better (say 50 healed per hit, 150dmg done to mob). Also remove the parry penalty, but keep the defense penalty. Alternatively keep both the parry and defense penaltys, but perhaps add a spell dmg multiplier, say 5 - 10% keeping in line with the defensive stance drawbacks. These are a summary of opinions thus far. More testing will be done soon. Our offensive stance needs to feel offensive, not meh, if we are going to be forced to use it to dps with or solo at any kind of decent speed. At the moment its like our current defensive stance but we hit, and get hit more often. We take more damage too. Its pretty much a downgrade on our current stance/w buffs. Defensive stance is in my opinion fine for what it is intended for. IE tanking in groups. I was a protection warrior in WoW and am fine with low dps as long as I have the tools to tank well. Everyone solos at some point. The offensive stance needs to be tailored for solo, as well as group play |

![]() Whilst I would personally love to see more DPS on offensive stance, I dont think its going to happen. Everyone already thinks we do too much damage as it is. The damage reactive proc on offensive stance really is silly though, aside from soloing youll never see it go off since we have so much deaggro. A significant mana tap would be much better as I still chew through mana unless ive got my warden partner with me. |
