![]() First I would like to start with something completely obvious; Crane Twirls 16% AoE auto attack. I know this has been addressed in another thread, but I feel due to how grossly out of line this is with all other fighter classes it beared repeating. ALL other fighter classes with the exception of Brawlers have a 40% AoE auto attack AA. I can't say how glad that brawlers finally got an AoE auto attack ability, but 16% is really an insult. If your going to fix something please take the time to do it right, give us Brawlers the same 40% that all other Fighter classes get. Besides, Brawlers are supposed to be the DPS tanks and we already got the shaft with Melee Crit and Double Attack AA's. Please if you are truely concerned about the Brawler community re-think this issue. Next I would like to address an addition that has been made to all fighter Offensive Stances; The Increase of all physical damage done to the caster by 5%. This is a completely unnecessary addition due to the fact that fighters are already taking increased damage from the loss of defensive skills associated with being in Offensive Stance. Why do you feel there is a need to penalize us further? This is especially unfair to Brawlers in particular for two reasons; 1) Brawlers have far less mitigation than Plate Tanks. 2) Brawlers also do not have the ability to remove the stance penalties as some other tank classes do, which would serve to lessen the impact of this. Furthermore Monks (which have already been reduced to the worst tank in the game) are affected more than any other tank class by this due to the fact that bruisers have been given a 10% damage reduction AND the monk Mythical ability to make leather armor nearly as effective as chain (and they are supposed to be the offensive brawler). Please take the time to really think if this is even the slightest bit necessary in the first place. Also, if you do choose to keep this addition to the offensive stance for some unknown reason, it absolutely CANNOT be 5% across the board. That would be completely Unfair and Unbalanced for the Brawler. The last change that I would like to address is an addition to the Fighters Defensive Stance; The Decrease of the Melee Damage Multiplier by .5. Again this is a completely absurd and unnecessary change. Fighter DPS is already effectively halved upon entering a Defensive Stance due to the reduction of Offensive skills. I am certain EVERY single fighter can agree there is absolutely no need to reduce his DPS by a whopping 75%. I understand the idea behind less offensive power for being in a defensive stance, but seriously, the skill reductions alone took care of that. Why was this even considered? Please consider dropping this effect completely as it is blatantly obvious to how excessive and unwarranted an addition this is. I understand the direction your trying to go in with this new GU. I would like to say the majority of the changes that have been made will most likely be for the better. But these 3 issues need Serious and Immediate consideration. Aside from the changes stated here I think you guys have done a good job and made a great effort in an attempt to bring a better balance to the Tank classes as a whole. But I think many people would agree with me that the 2 additions stated above with the Defensive and Offensive Stances are more than a bit excessive, unwarrented, and completely unnecessary in compilation with the other changes that you have made. So please give great consideration to dropping those 2 in particular completely. |
