![]() Bit confused on how the caps are working for parry/defense. At what magic number is my avoidance capped and how does block, parry, & base work into all this?? Currently i'm reading capped at 524 def/parry. Is this a solid number that can't be raisedm, and if it can't does that meean any more items with parry/defense are not worth adding? Sorry if this is a bit noobish, but really need a good breakdown of how all this works now. Also any mitigation breakdowns would be much appreciated as well. Thx in advance......

![]() All this information is already incapsulated in posts on this forum and in posts on eq2flames. I doubt anyone has the time to restate it all for you here. 520ish on Parry / Defense is a hard cap. The only arguement for more is to have 'breathing room' for defense/parry debuffs from a mob, but those are generally insta-cured and not worth further stats. Additional avoidance is gained by gear that provides % bonus to block / parry amounts and/or shield effectiveness. Search on these terms, you should find all the data you need.
