You do not want to see the PoS weapons that are unfortunatly placed on the shard merchants.

so i assume these are sub fabled epic levels?

i was thinking that the new weapons would be along the lines of 90dr-105dr with nice looks and effects... so i am wrong in this aspect?

the reason i ask is that i wont be able to get my mythical, and wanted to see if there will be something for me to work for in the new expansion...

You will still farm Rok until you get Carrotidcutter even after Tso release.

More like sub-MC.

The itemization of TSO seems to suggest that every player will have the epic appropriate to their playstyle. This is not a bad thing, as they could hardly make a weapon that out performs them while still maintaining balance.

The problem this brings up is the fact that the only weapons avalible on shard merchants are off handers for those that duel wield. There is no mage or priest weapon, and last I looked there were no brawler weapons (I assume one will be added). There are actually more ranged weapons than there are melee weapons, yet there are no thrown weapons at all.

and by epic, i assume you mean the mythical... which i will never be able to have on either of my characters.

i didnt plan on doing the epic on my sk because of how long it took me to get it on my brigand (fabled)... getting groups to try and get the fabled version of your epic will be much harder after tso launches...

Why would mages want that loot anyway!  They'll still be farming Unrest for WoCP.  I mean it was better than all the Rok group/raid 1h drops, minus mythicals.  Would be nice of void merchants had the upgrade to it :p

I got my Swash epic in about a weeks time. I plan on getting my SK epic after TSO launch because it's still (probably)going to be the best available weapon for him. Then, when my guild makes it to VP I will get both my chars there mythics.

Yes, I /rolled eyes at this too.

I'm used to being ignored now however, after our total lack of anything good in RoK I had already resigned myself.

Notice the part about the epic "appropriate to your playstyle".  That's probably a reference to either the fabled or mythical epic. Both are better than the shard weapons atm. And it's not that hard to get the fabled version. I just betrayed and knocked out the fabled in 2.5 total playtime from start to finish. I did a little bit Friday night and was done Saturday morning.

im about 1/2 way through it now.. i havent killed any 85^^^'s yet, but most of the leg work is done. my problem is getting groups... i play from 8-10:30 am est, its not the best time to find an abundent source of people... then there is the 10:00 patch that tends to interupt things.
