4 Piece VP set bonus

Anyone notice that the 4 piece VP set bonus only adds 2% to Hold Aggression, even though it says 5% in the description on the item?

I think this is because 5% of 50% is 2.5%, so it really is 52.5% and the game rounds that number down when you look at it. None of the bonuses to the Guardian set are game changing anyway, probably why it isn't complained about more. We run DKP, so I do not really even bid up the items much because our Troubadors and Illusionsists get way more out of the bonuses than I do. Three of the items I won't even take until I am forced to and then they will be going into my appearance slot (not to be a snob, but the helm and shoulders are worse than the warrior set and the boots are "not'a so good" compared to the 3DA/3crit boots from PR).

That must be the situation with it. They should reword it so it's a bit clearer, either way the bonus was never anything major 2.5% or 5% not a big deal really.

Yup, most of the VP set gear is Meh, some sets you can equip all pieces cast the spell and then take them off, but you can't do it with the guard set. The overall bonuses to the sets are pretty sad, for example the 6 piece bonus; 33% sounds like a lot when you say it, but apply that number to 28 and you get +9, ya that's gonna bring up my hit rate.

A lot of the pieces of the set I've taken for the set of smart loot. Also I've heard that if you have the items equiped in the appeareance slot it won't count towards the smart loot so rememeber to swap ye'ol gear back into your inventory slots when your running VP.

Good thing about the VP stuff being junk is at least we can look forward to cooler loot drops, it makes the decision of what to wear a lot easier SMILEY .
