Do you (berserkers) actually wear your VP set on raids?

When our paladin is there, usually he does the OT job while I am in the melee dps group. My DPS gear consists of T1-T3 armor and jewellery mostly from quests and lower raid zones (crit+dbl). With my dps gear (plate armor, but avoidance almost like a mage o_O), epic weapon and a dirge in my group I have 100(+)% double attack, up to ~ 119% crit (and 100% AoE auto attack of course). That results in a 4500-5200ish dps on VP trash mobs (depending on Juggernaught and 'T8-Destruction' being up).

With VP set (not completed yet) my dbl attack and crit shrinks noticably.

So do YOU permanently wear your VP set or do you focus on crit and dbl regardless of the VP set boni, higher mitigation and pretty high agi/sta/health ?

not one of our set bonuses is really that huge, i personally just wear the best pieces and that's it.

i do NOT use the boots or the shoulders and the helmet i swap out with the crimson helmet of horrors on more difficult fights because the crimson helm is superior dps on trash and easy stuff. if none of the set bonuses were in place i wouldn't shed a tear. the bonus to C/S/P is 9.6, barely makes a dent especially since you have to be berserk to get it, 20% less power drain on adrenaline is ok but nothing i would swap aggro/dps gear out to get, the raidwide power regen on the pants is 26 also nothing that will make a dent in anything worthwhile, i can't even remember what the 2 set bonus is at the moment. the only shining piece is the breastplate buff, which some have parsed and said our T7 BP outprocs it DPS wise.... i haven't tested this myself since i muted all my old gear(i have a hard time believing this claim though since the numbers would have to be completely wrong damage wise listed on turmoil or the proc rate is broken which it does not seem to be).

The 2 set bonus improves our stiffle. Because we all raid to improve spells that don't work on raids. The T7 BP better than T8? How? The Eof bp increases Destruction triggers by 2, RoK bp Turmoil triggers by 4. How can the EoF bp be better? I doubt that it is true, but I transmuted my old bp as well, so I can't tell.

Indeed, the set boni aren't that useful. Adrenaline's power consumption can be countered by dirge and enchanter. Melee skills for group is nice but not that decisive; it mainly helps us to keep aggro in def stance. And the dual bonus is totally useless. Look at the guardian's: one minute less recast for Reinfocement, that's awesome.

Shortening the recast time of Adrenaline would be better.

The dps boni (crit, dbl) on each set item are a joke. +5 dps etc. Hey! No comparison to T1-T3 gear's +4 crit +4 dbl and such...

Btw, how much mana reg do the leg plates enhancing our hp reg? Is it raid wide?
