I got a question maybe someone could help me out with.I play a 24 locked guardian on nagafen. I mainly PVP. Right now I'm specced 448 str and 448 Int. its a good set up and works great for me with the haste and crits. But i was wondering, would I get better results specing down the slaughter line and getting double attack? Would I get more dps from the CA damage upgrades and Lay Waste looks great and also double attack then I would from the Str and Int Lines?also, should i go 4 8 8 in int for the increased haste buff?thanks in advance for any advice

I'd prob do something likeSta: 4,4,8,8 Int: 4,460% double attack and the 8% riposte will help your crappy buckler avoidance.

That doesnt really answer the question that I had asked.Which was if the slaughter line would give more dps than a 448 spec into STR and INT at level 24.

The STA line will increase your DPS - will prob double it at least.

im sorry i guess i was not specific enough in my original post and maybe thats why there is confusion.I use a dual wield setup. And I use it because I like it and choose to, and am not switching to shield just yet. Eventually I will. But for now dual wield works great and im havin a blast.Thats why I spec'd 448 str and 448 int.then i was wondering, would the extra 4 points in the second ability in the int line benefit, due to the additional haste.~~furthermore i then started to wonder if just putting all my points into slaughter line would be more dps than this current set up i have now, but i tested that and my CA's dont get such a great benefit since they still do small damage.sorry for teh confusion

You will do more dps with sta line with 60% dbl attk more ripostes and buckler reversal, and the ability to use shield bash. You will also have some avoidance, but hey do what you want.

If you don't want to max your dps, then you are pretty free to go down any line on either tree you like. The proven fact is you get more bang for your buck out of the Warrior tree. I don't know of any Guards that use dual wield for DPS.. two-handed if they are Tower Shield speced, but not dual wield... |
