Power of Hate bugged?

I'm doing the evil side version of the world event (Power of Hate), but I can't get the updates I need. My quest journal says to harvest rancor quartz gems except that none of the piles of dirt are clickable for me. (Had no problems doing the quest in Kelethin with my conjy). I haven't bugged it yet in case I'm just doing something wrong. I've bugged quests before only to find I had missed a step lol. So did I miss a step? Is there some special dance I'm supposed to do while harvesting the gems?

The quest works fine. The problem is you jumped ahead a step. What you need to do is get the crystals in neriak (normally along the walls and in tunnel areas), then after you do that you turn them in, and after that you need to burry them. Of course it says it in the quest text but well you ain't the only one that missed that.
