wow, the other day a bunch in my guild got their mythicals. Got to love the mystic mythical's ability to destroy my dps. The clicky is nice for every other class around, but the enchanters are all trying to dodge the mystic. I managed to dodge, by stating that i had no problem as long as they didn't mind my dps dropping. So now the illy and I are right about even, since i can run vm, and its very hard for her, since she got the mystic.This is where i love/hate volatile magic. Yes its nice to have something that not every goober can manage, which for the moment is me, but i'm getting better, since its not second nature yet. Though it reminds me alot of the summoner mage pet, which insisted on running in. Yeah it was nice being able to keep it alive when alot couldn't, but it was still sweet when they introduced the /pet ranged command and fixed the mage pet to not try to melee. So its kind of like saying that, your glad that not everybody can take the pain of jabbing a needle into their foot repeatedly, but its still nice to stop.So far i haven't been able to figure out a way to deal with the mystic mythical. If anybody has any useful/constructive suggestions, I would welcome them. Trying to keep them out of my group, is not a long term viable solution. This is getting frustrating to say the least. Now i not only have my own mythical destroying VM, and my dps, but now other classes are doing it too. My favorite is that accidentally triggering my mythicals group manaflow is a raid wiper on venril sathir. Honestly can any other class say that their mythical can wipe a raid? Also, if the mystic mythical can restore the groups power better than i can, what am i there for? Oh yeah, hate generation, and mezzing. Oh wait, since i dont buff for subjugation, and am never in the troubador group, I have to jump through hoops to mez as well as illusionists. I'm just grateful that i'm getting my dps up, as long as i can dodge the poor mystic. I'd hate the be the mystics as they realize that the enchanters are all trying to dodge them.And now the vp set isn't getting any kind of boost. I have 2 pieces, but am unsure if i'll wear them. Tbh, the 2 set bonus is so lame, that I'm probably not gonna wear the gloves, since ft20 is useless to me. I'll stick with the gloves out of the t1 zone protectors realm, that has more useful stats like spell crit. Since they're not making our set bonuses worth anything, i see no point in any piece that doesn't have spell crit or increases my recast/cast rate. +10 power, O.o, that's so uber. I'm just glad i got the fabled robe out of maiden's since its much better than the vp set, though if that looks nice, i might get it for appearance slot, and wear the instance robe for effectiveness. I really hope the stuff out of shard of hate is actually worth something, because i can't seem to find much coercer only loot that's excites me in a non head bashing against the wall kind of way. But in typical fashion anything that's coercer only will probably give us more power or + ministration. Yes I'd like +subj, because yes occasionally you do have to mez in a raid, and more you have to tell the raid leader that you can't do something as well as another class, the more they wonder what they need you for.Sigh i dont know why i am writing this, its not like any of what we're saying is getting through. We ask for dps because that's what the raid leaders are asking for. If SoE doesn't give us what the raid leaders want, we dont raid. Stuff like this sure helps to light a fire under my butt to level an illusionist, as insurance.

i hear ya, whoever did loot for the expansion should be fired, legendary loot from instances that is most the time better then the tier 1 stuff and our vp set is just [Removed for Content]. Honestly i think it's time for a new game. Sony has half [Removed for Content] enoughfor my taste. And really it's not gonna change, [Removed for Content] they can't even put in all the zones they promise at lauch still no kurns tower and we just got hate, [Removed for Content] is that, pure pathetic imho

yeah we have to have the only mythical, that using one of its special abilities actually hurts our dps or has the ability to wipe raids. Helloooo knock knock!! They want dps, and if you dont fix our dps, you're gonna find more and more raiding guilds that feel coercer's are unnecessary. All the utility in the world wont help that. What used to save us, was our hate buff, but when you changed that and made it also a hate transfer, now they're looking at our dps. You made our dps important, but never improved it.There are a number of classes that have great utility and no raid slots available to them. Crusaders are a great example.
