Good Evening,Ever since about a week ago since my EverQuest 2 Patcher "C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest IIEQ2.exe" updated I now receive a critical system error on my nVidia 680i motherboard running RAID every time the EQ2.exe is launched. My system tends to freeze, almost like a hard lock for 5-10 seconds, and then response and continues to open EverQuest 2 without any issues.I do not have any issues with any other applications or even while EverQuest 2 is running, only when launching the patcher. It tends to error at different times; sometimes at application launch, sometimes when after I put my username/password in.My system information is below along with the error message. I figure I will end up reinstalling the patcher, but before doing so, I am curious if anyone else is experiencing an issue with the patcher and RAID. Also I have ran chkdsk and received no bad sectors or errors.OS Name Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Server 2003, Standard EditionVersion 5.2.3790 Service Pack 2 Build 3790Other OS Description Not AvailableOS Manufacturer Microsoft CorporationSystem Name SATORISystem Manufacturer NVIDIASystem Model 122-CK-NF68System Type X86-based PCProcessor x86 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 6 GenuineIntel ~3613 MhzProcessor x86 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 6 GenuineIntel ~3613 MhzBIOS Version/Date Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG, 9/28/2007SMBIOS Version 2.4Windows Directory C:WINDOWSSystem Directory C:WINDOWSsystem32Boot Device DeviceHarddiskVolume1Locale United StatesHardware Abstraction Layer Version = "5.2.3790.3959 (srv03_sp2_rtm.070216-1710)"User Name SATORIAdministratorTime Zone Eastern Daylight TimeTotal Physical Memory 4,094.24 MBAvailable Physical Memory 3.36 GBTotal Virtual Memory 5.84 GBAvailable Virtual Memory 5.06 GBPage File Space 2.00 GBPage File C:pagefile.sys

First indication I would think of is that hard drive is starting to fail in the sectors that are occupied by the eq2 directory. Would highly recommend that you backup everything and replace the drive asap. The event log is telling you which drive is starting to fail
