How high can assassins get their run speed?

I know rangers can get over 60% with agi and pathfinding using AA. I know assassins have the agility boost with AA and 16% pathfinding. Do they have any other abilities that let them run at ridiculous speeds?

So far my max is something like 39%. This requires pathfinding, the archery line AA's and jboots. I can trade pathfinding for a 48% sow totem at lvl 65, which will put me at 58%. But that's not really self buffed =/Be nice if we could get some good speed going like our foresty cousins.

Thanks. I asked cause I had a buddy who's a ranger who runs at 64% and he had a lvl 32 assassin run him down. The guy kept up with him for over 2 minutes running an entire zone and finally caught him. If what you say is true there is no way that guy should have been able to keep up and must have been using some sort of speed hack.

He could have had either Droag Swill (40% run) or the /claim reward that is the same run speed amount.

With the AA, Jboots, etc... he could have been at or near 100% run speed

40% run speed bonus for 10min (and a dps boost as well).

Current run speed is 53%.

45% from the Crafting Epic reward, and 8% from the AA line.

I think I could get it to 63% if I equip jBoots, but have not tried to see if they stack.

16% pathfinding10% Archery line10% Jboots 5% half Elf___41% total

And ps, i LOVE my droag swill, running at 81% rocks! lol

Im on a pvp server and currently I'm running at 60% with jboots, racial trait (kerran) and Chok totem. I left the INT line for WIS with 8 points in obscurfation (im also all the way down STR and STA) But I'm debating trading in the WIS line for the AGI line to get that extra run speed. Without actually spending the plat or getting rid of my AA raid set up on the mirror...How much additional runspeed will the AGI line give me with 8 points in it and is it worth trading the wis line for it? Looking for opinions or ppl who have dabbled with this.

the droag swill stacks with pretty much everything and it looks like a normal drink I think. So with that and pathfidning heäd be at 56%. with the agi line, that would put him at 66%. If he was a race that gets runspeed increase, he could be at 71% "permanent"runspeed without JBoots or cheats. add the JBoots (at lvl 42) and he'd be at 81%. Toss on a sow totem and we're at 89%. All self buffed. SMILEY

and when you can get the Choki totems, well... 45 + 10 + 10 + 5 = 70% without the need to use the speed drinks. SMILEY

There is also 40% runspeed vodka that you got some time back that works like the droag swill (but the two cannot be stacked)

45% from the earing of the solstice - crafter epic - lasts for 24 hours and stays even if you die

10% from J-Boots

10% Band of Pure Panic - random treasured drop out of Shard of Fear, can usualy find them on the broker, does not stack with itself

5% AGI AA

I like running past lvl 80 guild mounts and laughing at them, although i still have my red saddled nightmare for sentimental reasons.

Am i missing something obvious here? I am new to both the Assassin class and the game but it looks to me like the AGI line doesn't have a run speed bonus except for in combat run speed with the fitness skill. I'd love to boost my run speed as much as possible as well. Have Half Elf bonus and JBoots almost done. Any thoughts?

The in-combat run speed buff in the agility line applies to out of combat runspeed too.

So...

5% racial runspeed

10% from the agility line

16% from pathfinding

10% from Jboots

10% from Ring of Panic

= 51% out of combat runspeed unbuffed, 10% in combat, 15% in combat if you are one of those races whose racial runspeed work in combat as well. Who needs a 30p mount anyways?

As far as including non consistent buffs...

45% from the chokidai totem - 16% from pathfinding = 80% runspeed. You can replace the chokidai totem with the epic crafter earring if you happen to be a crafter.

Can hit 100% with the droag swill or that other item that does the same thing, but those are consumable and can't be replaced.

So, the biggest determining factors really are whether or not you have the crafting epic earring, and whether or not you have 8 points sunk into Fitness.

as i question u.. it came to me, that u could make a macro to equip fast moving stuff whenver u want.. that would be handy

Thats what I do...I now run at 80% with the Band of Pure Panic and I have all that gear on a macro and when i get super close to my target switch back to battle spec and waylay my target....too bad we still can't change in combat...that is lame that we cant (but i run fast cos i play on a pvp server)

After reading this thread, i decided to try it out.

I am still at 67% with A totem and panic ring... but if u ask me, that panic ring goes off way too much, it almost seems too dangerous to use for the extra 10%. I am still finishing off my AGI line, so i only have 2 points in Fitness, but are there any other ways i can get more speed without using a totem? I go through them awfully quick.

Right now im using

Jboots - 10%

Panic Ring - 10%

Spirit of lizard lookn thing, a totemm( forget what its called) - 45%

And still only 2 points into fitness for 2%

But i really dont like using the panic ring due to its dangerous nature.

IS the there any other items other then panic ring? I seen a mage item that gave 10% run speed, but no scout one yet.

cos you bleed pwr when we use sprint....running somewhere between 60-80 without using pwr is a must
