Problem with Sony Lanucher

Hello everyone.My friends is now working in Irland, few months ago he was trying to play Vangaurd, but he has all the time problem with Sony Launcher.Now he is trying to play Everquest, he boguht RoK, but he still have a problem with Launcher.It looks like it couldn't connect, and there is all the time "Loading"... sometimes game starts, but usually he has a problem with that.Anyone got similar problem? Or anyone has any idea what it could be?

Be sure that a firewall isnt interfering. He may need to allow EQ2 access through it.Firewall and Proxy Information for EverQuest IIIf it isnt this... then perhaps more info like a dxdiag from him would be helpful...
