Heya -  I'm looking for a good Shield to upgrade.  Still using Draconic Defiler mostly for the high mitigation.  I haven't really seen anything out there to really replace it.  Anyone have a good suggestion?ThanksPherez LvL 80 SKNajena server

Grim Defender is nice. I think it's a drop from General V'Deers in JW. 1306 protection, +3 defense/parry, 125 health 100 power, 36sta 15agi, 600 vs heat,  920 vs magic and a runic barrier proc (6% chance to proc 280 hp ward when hit).

If that's not available then you can do the quest from Teren in Terens grasp and kill Xalgoz. That gives you the Crested Shield of Teren Rysis. It has nice stats and +4 defense, but protection is only 1273. I'm not really sure that it's better than Draconic Deflector, because that one has mitigation on it.

I'm currently using the draconic deflector too, and it's hard to upgrade because of the high mitigation you get from it. I think the two mentioned above are actually downgrades. The only legendary shield i see as a possible upgrade is the Shield of the Green Dragon. Other than that, you will have to get a fabled replacement out of one of the t8 raid zones.
