Festering Flesh Buckler

Every person has that one item that they seek, but seem to never be able to aquire. For me, that item is the festering flesh buckler.

I have on numerious occasions asked where it drops and I am always told unrest. I have defeated unrest about 50 or so times on my various char's and have yet to see it drop from any mob, on any of my char's.

I have researched on various sites and they all say it drops in unrest, yet I look at the loot table for every mob in the zone and not one of them have the Festering Flesh Buckler on their loot table. I have also researched every quest that starts in or deals with the zone of unrest. Not one of them the Festering Flesh Buckler as a reward at any part of the quest.

I am currently a 75 guardian, and can wax unrest with my normal group in less than 75 minutes, but I am still sick of the zone. You can only do the same thing so many times before you get bored of it. That being said, I have decided to just break down and purchase the buckler, yet now it seems it is not for sale on the broker, ever.

All of my research leads me to believe that the Festering Flesh Buckler no longer drops and if you don't have one by now, you are not going to get one.

So I ask of you, my fellow guardians. When was the last time you visually saw the Festering Flesh Buckler drop. I don't care if your friend saw one drop, I want to know when did you visually see it drop. What mob was it off of. Is there anything special I have to do to acquire it. Or, do you know if it was taken out of the loot table. Your help on this is greatly appreciated.

The buckler drops off the hag that ports you into her cells every 20% health drop. I last saw the buckler drop a week before RoK went live but lost it to a healer who wanted it as well. I'm in the same boat you are now, it's on my wish list of wants.

I bought mine off the broker, so you may want to check there periodically as well.

Festering Hag drops it and I still see fresh bucklers put on the market (tho most overpriced).

yes it does drop off the hag i was very lucky myself and got it my very 1st run at 67 lol. another buckler ya might be able to aquire now with level cap increase is the buckler of the howler from freethinkers hall raid zone it drops off the very 1st namer the wolf can prolly get a decent pickup raid to clear atleast that far might be worth it for ya
