hi ive just started to use act just out of curiosity to see what sort of DPS i am doing but when i look at the parse my pets DPS is not being added to my dps, i read the FAQ in the ACT site but the info on there says its out dated and in the miscellaneous when i hover the mouse pointer over the add pets dps to masters total it says something about the name of the pet, i renamed my pet.. should i have not done this ?

![]() ACT runs off of EQ2's log. If I recall correctly when your pet has the same name as you it post's to the log exactly as you do so ACT will include your pet's dps as your dps since there is no difference in the log. So if you want the pet's dps to be added to your dps just name your pet the same as you. If you want the pet dps to be separate then name your pet something else. I'm sure there is a way within ACT itself to add the 2 together in that case but I don't know how to do that.
