Could i please get some advice on which tradeskills are a suitable match for my brand new Fae Wizard please.

I tried searching for it, but didnt managed to find any complete answers. I would like to know what works well for a wizzy and why.

Sage is great for your personal upgrades, but don't expect to be able to sell anything but Adept IIIs.

Every class benefits from Jeweler.

Tailor is nice for the Mastercrafted armor, the bags, and the Hex Dolls.

Everyone eats, so provsioner is always a good choice.  And if you want a nice house and big boxes, you can always be a carpenter.

I took Sage since Adept3s will cost you more over the character's life than jewelry or any other item will.

Be a sage.

It will save you lots of money.

It will also make you lots of money.

Do the following:

Make a "store" of the last 2 or 3 teirs of the game i.e. T6-T8 and put up 1 of every Adept III of whatever class seems to be popular and not necessarily covered on your server.

Enjoy the 20-60 pp in gross sales every day.

Pocket the 4-20 pp in profit for your 30min of RL effort to just buy your own rares.

Hint for classes:

What are/is the current FOTM for DPS for farming and soloing?

What classes have a large endgame population?

What classes are not totally covered on your server by other TSer's?

Pick the ONE class that is included in all 3 of the self-check questions above.

 Be a sage.

I almost forgot to add...

If you haven't hit lvl 25 or 30 yet as a Sage make a new one on one of your other character slots (unless you're using all 6).   (You can hit 25 in half a day or less)

Keep it unguilded, don't advertise that this particular character is linked in any fashion to your main adventuring character.  As a tradeskiller it is the only really solo part of the game and you need no one else to help you in any meaningful fashion.  If you want to make money on a store later on you'd hate to loose sales because person X didn't like interacting with you in zone Y at time Z in the past.

I've also heard of a couple of examples where ones adventuring prospects in mid-late life can be affected by lack of complete compliance of your tradeskill skills for those whom you surround yourself.  Although, imagineers (TM) entwined in the game tend to be self-sufficient and will likely help you carry some of the load on your behalf most times without you being the wiser on occasion you may find a rather lazy cast member (TM) who'd rather delegate load bearing activities to you instead of spending the time to level their own sage.

Your RL time is valuable and how you spend your time in game is also equally as valuable.  Keep it unguilded and unlinked to your main and save yourself any potential drama later on.

Most important IMOStick with one you enjoy. My main is a tailor, its reasonable fun. I have an alt sage, and it is so boring. So boring I rarely make adept 3s to sell. FOr me all three spell crafters are boring to level. Not difficult, just boring. You can make alts and have one of those for spells if that is what you wish, alternatively you are likely to have a guildy that would make 'em cheap or at cost if you supply the rare.If you get fun from making cash, then it might be a method that works for you.You can make good use of a Tailor, Provisioner, Jeweler, Sage and Weaponsmith. Some you might consider more useful than others, some you might find more fun. I'd go for fun: everytime.SMILEY If you are really lucky, fun and useful with be the same crafting skill. But don't bet on it.
