Day one of Frostfell ramp-up.

She notes all the wonderful things awaiting her in Frostfell village many of them only available once a year (How did Domino knooooow that as I crafted those 40,000 writs I stared longinly at those blue and purple lamps in Gowolyn and wished they could be mine?!) She then swoons

Day Two (after visit to ER to received two stitches over her left eye)

She murders an alt. Sorry. It had to be done. The alt was on another server and can not assist in massive Frostfell goodie storage so off she goes to alt-heavon. She was a good rat. We now have space for a new character soley for storage purposes. We examine all house vaults, removing some raw storage duplication and consider who needs a bigger house SMILEY<img src=" width="15" height="15" />

Now is as good a itme as any to swap out Redwood boxes for rosewood, every slot counts!!!

We streamline what we carry day to day so that at an instant's notice we are ready to rush in to Frostfell lVillage.

Day Three

We wander through the house..stripping it of things we no longer need/want as badly as we think we will want/need the new stuff SMILEY<img src=" width="15" height="15" /> We pull out our decorations and start the decorating process.

And now we wait.....

I'd just like to add it was Kaitheel who requested the lanterns for Frostfell, actually!  He and Feconix are the masterminds behind the majority of it.  SMILEY

I love all who had a hand in it Truely, I didn't like the time I spent in that city. The ONLY thing I coveted was those lamps and now they shall be mine.

hehe

The waiting part is the part that's hardest. SMILEY I'd hoped we'd get the Frostfell stuff sooner rather than later this year because I'm gone from the 20th through the 28th and consequently scheduled my guild's Frostfell party for this weekend.

Alas! It looks like no Frostfell goodies this year for our party.  SMILEY

At Fan Faire I learned that Feconix and Kaitheel are the devs who are responsible for so much Frostfell goodness, including the inclusion of Frostfell crafting in last year's celebration (which was before our Dear Domino's time). We owe them a hearty THANK YOU for such grand inclusion of crafters in the festivities!A Frostfell Crafting hint:  *if* it works like last year, Frostfell recipes can only be crafted on special Frostfell crafting stations in the Frostfell Wonderland.  Stockpiling components does you no good, unless you want to store them for a year.

sigh I had just deleted two full mules worth of Frostfell raws right before RoK came out. SMILEY I just had no where to put them, and had to get rid of the char's. cry Guess I'll be spending the first week harvesting again.

Ah yes, fond memories of last year's mayhem running around the Frostfell village beating people off with my staff while trying to harvest the nodes needed for the crafting supplies. Note to self: remember to set the alarm clock for VERY early Sunday morning while all the peeps who went to Xmas parties the night before are still sleeping it off !! But, seriously, many thanks to both Feconix and Kaitheel for the great job they did last year and their efforts again this year to give us a spectacular way to celebrate the Holiday Season. Job Well Done and 2 Thumbs Up !!!
