Non raiding tank gear

I was wondering if I could get some info on some non raid tanking gear from the lvl 80 tanks out there. I have seen the set gear and to be honest I am not too impressed. Is that the best that is available for non raiding tanks? or is there an alternative either heroic quest or named loot from instances? I have a mix of kos fabled and eof legendary atm, just to give you an idea.

Legendary Armor from the ROK instances are nice. Nice pair of boots from the quest line on the Dwarfs in JW zone.Might look over the faction merchants for jewelery they sell.

I would agree that the instance gear is nice but not really for tanking. Its more of DPS plate gear. So far in this expansion I have seen very little viable "tank" gear but a lot of plate dps gear which makes me sad. The good thing I guess is that you dont need a lot of good tanking gear to do any single group instances or even the first teir of T8 raiding. I would say you dont really need good tanking gear till you are at Overking. Either way I would love to see more tanking plate gear and still have some DPS plate gear but a balance between them would be great.
